Unfortunately I heard through the death of a Dear friend Dottie Rambo. I am one of the origional members of the Salton Bros. Trio from London, Ont. Canada and we sang on many occasions with Dottie. Dear Friends: Thanks for taking time to write to us. We do have a copy of this old album jacket, among a zillion others from the past 45 or so years. Lorne and I traveled with the Saltons when we were first married....in fact, we took our honeymoon with this gang. They built us a honeymoon suite in the back of the bus and our first tour was to the Maritime Provinces in eastern Canada in January. The weather was horrendous. We got stranded in one town in Quebec. We had a little kitchenette on the bus and a few cans of beans. We ate beans and played Rook for two days. We have lots of happy memories of those early days. Lorne does not use the computer so that is why you are hearing from me. We would like to invite you to visit our web site: www.lornematthews.com. You can hear samples of music, see our schedule, our testimony, marriage helps, etc. Our home is in Akron, OH, but we are based in Lakeland, FL 6-7 months of the year. December is our busiest month - we do a Christmas concert in old English carolers costumes and we are booked almost everyday of the month and sometimes twice a day. We wish you great success and blessing in your singing ministry. The only thing the Lord really requires is our faithfulness and a servant attitude. We amaze at what He can use.....for instance last night. We never made such a mess of our music in our lives. I thought everyone hated what we were doing.....ended up the Lord did things we were not even aware of.
